Elizabeth Rehnke considers herself as a fashion spectator, simply because she holds a strong interest in fashion even though she doesn’t actually work in the industry. And of all the items in the fashion world, she is particularly fond of shoes. In fact, she considers her shoe collection as one of her most prized possessions.

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Ms. Rehnke is regularly on the lookout for the latest trends via runway reviews from fashion magazines and the Internet. She also dares to try these trends, creating an ensemble that fits her lifestyle, which she completes with the right pair of shoes.




And for 2012, Elizabeth Rehnke is just one of the many fashion enthusiasts all over the world who are excited to see what the New Year’s about to offer, fashion-wise.

For the early part of the year, pastel or caramel colors, such as cream, baby pink, coral, and yellow are in. In the runways, hints of yellow are all over the creations of D&G, Moschino, and Mulberry. However, fashion experts have long pronounced that orange and corals will be the prime colors of the season.




Also, there’s a great play on patterns for the year, which Liz Rehnke, among other fashion savvies, truly adores. Dolce & Gabbana’s S/S 2012 collection, for example, used fruits as print patterns on dresses. Kaleidoscopic, wild and ethnic, and combined prints were also spotted in the runway. Fans of animal prints can add a whole new collection to their closets as reptile printed shoes, bags, and clothes are big this season.
